AMP is a highly compact, electrically actuated smart control valve that allows the precise metering of flow for a variety of fluids. The unit is powered by a 14VDC source and has a flow-coefficient of CV = 40 and operates at a maximum pressure of 1500psi (10.2MPa). It weighs just under 4.4lb (2kg) and has dimensions of 4in X 4in X 5in (10cm x 10cm x 12cm).

Key Design Features.
Compact
AMP is highly compact and lightweight (compared to modern valves of similar flow capacity). All electronics and control mechanisms are integrated in a small package barely larger than a fist.
Precise
The AMP built-in computer will precisely control valve position using a variety of protocols including PWM, analogue, and serial. AMP can also provide direct feedback of exact valve position.
Versatile
The standard version of the valve can handle basic fluids such as water and oil. However, materials inside the valve can be readily upgraded to handle more exotic fluids. The input and output ports can also be customized depending on client needs.

Plumbing
The standard ports are both ¾ NPT female. However, other port combinations are possible including one with a butt weld, socket weld, or an NPT male port.
Valve Materials
The materials of the individuals valve parts may be upgraded for better materials most compatible for a client’s application. This includes the material of the body, ball, stem, O-ring, and seat-lining.
Software
AMP contains a built-in microcomputer that is compatible with Arduino. It may be easily reprogrammed to add new functionality and support for over-the-air communication using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
