Jet Drone Applications
Emergency Delivery
The JetQuad is an ideal platform for the delivery of emergency supplies, particularly suited for high altitude or stormy environments where propellers don't work very well. Quick diesel refuel enhances rapid deployment with minimum downtime.
Law Enforcement
A jet-powered VTOL drone supports law enforcement with a visible, unmistakable aerial presence for crowd monitoring and deterrence, backed by high-speed pursuit capabilities that outpace traditional ground vehicles.
Border Patrol
Thanks to its high speed, the JetQuad can be quickly deployed for surveillance and deterrence along borders. Several drones can efficiently patrol very long stretches, enhancing security coverage with rapid response and persistent monitoring.
Key Design Features
Compact Size
The JetQuad drone is ultra-compact, similar in size to a large suitcase, delivering 840N of thrust from four micro jet engines. This type of drone has neither airfoils nor moving surfaces, allowing it to operate in environments inaccessible to ordinary multicopters.
High Speed
The JetQuad excels in vertical takeoff, precise hovering, and seamless transitions to high-speed horizontal flight. Its in-house Thrust-Vectoring System (TVS) enables agile maneuvers, while onboard software is pre-programmed for autonomous flight through pre-set waypoints.
Versatility
The JetQuad drone supports heavy fuels like Diesel, Kerosene, Jet-A, and Biodiesel, enabling rapid refueling in minutes compared to hours for electric drones. Its unique propulsion allows takeoff from various surfaces, and quick-start capabilities ensure easy operation.
"The JetQuad combines vertical lift capability of a helicopter with the high-speed maneuverability of a jet-fighter."

Advantages of JetQuad VTOL Drone Over Electric Multicopters
Top Speed and Acceleration
The JetQuad's jet-engines easily hit a top speed in excess of 150mph at sea-level. Combined with thrust vectoring, the resulting drone outperforms similarly sized multicopters for speed and maneuverability.
Fuel Flexibility and Refuel Time
JetQuad's jet engines run on versatile heavy fuels like diesel, biodiesel, and Jet-A. Refill the 5-gallon tank in just under a minute - far faster than ordinary charging of electric multicopters.
Atmospheric Performance
Unlike Lithium-polymer batteries, JetQuad's turbines work great in freezing temperatures. Jet-power also greatly enhances vehicle stability in windy weather and operation in high-altitude environments.
Available Upgrades
Customize the JetQuad to meet your mission needs!
Satcom
Satellite communication like Starlink unlocks the full range of the JetQuad, enabling global operations and realizing its maximum potential for long-distance missions.
Fuel Capacity
Add more fuel capacity when carrying less payload to greatly improve range, making it ideal for extended flights with smaller loads.
Aerodynamics
An aerodynamic shell like a Blended Wing Body (BWB) boosts lift during cruise, maximizing endurance by reducing fuel consumption.

JetQuad Technical Overview
Quad Microturbine Propulsion
The JetQuad is powered by four high-performance 210 N (≈47 lbf) microturbine jet engines. These compact turbine engines deliver a combined thrust of over 840 N, enabling vertical takeoff and high-speed cruise in a small package.
Independent Thrust Vectoring
Each engine is paired with its own electrically actuated thrust-vectoring nozzle. By precisely tilting the exhaust of each jet independently, the JetQuad achieves both vehicle attitude control and enhanced maneuverability.
Open-Source Flight Stack
Flight control is built on standard PX4, extended with in-house control logic to handle the JetQuad's turbines and thrust vectoring systems. The stack is paired with QGroundControl (QGC) for mission planning and navigation.
