Loosen your shackles from the electrical grid – ARC is the world’s smallest and lightest 8kW Microturbine Generator that will revolutionize how we utilize electrical power.
Compact
The ARC generator is the world’s most compact 8kW generator – it is about the same size as a toolbox. The genset measures about 17cm X 27cm X 52cm and weighs just over 10kg. We ship the ARC fully assembled, ready-to-play out of the box – the customer need only connect two fuel lines to a tank and two power cables to the load.
Modular
Connect multiple units in parallel to provide more power thanks to the “block-like” form-factor of the ARC. Upon request, FusionFlight can customize the exhaust and inlet systems to accommodate a variety of applications. Customers can also take advantage of flexible mount locations to install the ARC on top of a surface, underneath, or even on a side-wall.
Versatile
The microturbine at the heart of the ARC consumes variety of heavy-fuel (Diesel, Kerosene, Jet-A). ARC’s aerospace aluminum structure is sufficiently rugged to allow for operation in a variety of environments. We offer add-on packages to expand the capability of the ARC turbogenerator.

Applications.
The ARC generator is useful anywhere you need electrical power in an ultra-compact and lightweight package.
Aerial Mobility
ARC can replace heavy and expensive lithium-based battery packs in many electrical aircraft, and in the process greatly boost the range. Electric drones and airplanes that implement ARC technology, will reap the full benefits of the quick refuel and high-energy density of liquid fuel. The ARC is an ideal lightweight replacement of APU (Auxiliary Power Units), aircraft GSE (Ground Support Equipment), specifically engine start-up carts.
Terrestrial Mobility
A customer can use the ARC unit as a portable range extender for an electric vehicle, especially when there are not charging stations available. Robots and exoskeleton suits do not need to rely on heavy battery packs and will be able to work longer and harder thanks to the compact ARC unit. Maritime applications will benefit as well since heavy-fuel such as Diesel is very common in the world.
Emergency Situations
ARC will solve critical logistical issues, especially in emergency situations when natural disasters have greatly impacted infrastructure. Due to its compact and lightweight form factor – a person can easily carry two ARC units by hand. The ARC is useful wherever high-output, on-demand power is needed. The unit may be upgraded to support all types of voltages and current outputs.
Simplicity and Elegance.
The team at FusionFlight has leveraged over six years of experience working on microturbine engines to provide a revolutionary new product in the field of power generation. We believe in simplicity so we stripped away everything and kept only the critical components. Next, we arranged these components in a composite aircraft-grade structure. The result is ARC - powerful, reliable and lightweight turbo-generator.
ADD-ON EQUIPMENT.
FusionFlight strives to accommodate a variety of applications in the field. For this reason, we offer add-on modules that are extra components that may be purchased together with the ARC generator. Pricing on add-on equipment depends on a client’s application – contact FusionFlight for more information. All add-on parts are shipped separately from the main ARC unit.
Electric Upgrades
The ARC turbogenerator outputs DC voltage in the range of 25VDC – 85VDC with optimum operating point is at 55VDC. Upon request, the alternator may be upgraded (at no additional cost) to work optimally at 70VDC output. Also, an inverter module can be purchased to provide single-phase AC voltage output at 120VAC or 240VAC.
Fuel Supply
To stay small, ARC generators do not have built-in fuel tanks. We offer additional fuel-tanks ranging in size from 20L to 400L. All our tanks are shipped separately and come with direct connections to the ARC. We highly recommend a Buffer-tank upgrade for all mobile applications (aircraft for examples) or applications in high-vibration environments.
Multi-Unit Setup
ARC has been designed from the ground up to work much like a “Lego” brick. A customer can attach as many bricks together as needed to generate the needed power output. For example, one can connect four ARC units together in parallel in a quad-pack configuration to generate an output of 32kWe. FusionFlight can help the customer with custom solutions for exhaust manifolds and fuel distribution.

Easy to Use Compact Generator.
The ARC is easy to set-up as a standalone unit or integrate into an existing system.
STEP 1. Set-up ARC turbogenerator on a surface or inside vehicle.

STEP 2. Connect two DC load lines and two fuel lines from the tank.

STEP 3. Connect remote controls and push the main power switch.

STEP 4. Control the unit using a wired remote or a Bluetooth app.

ADVANTAGES OVER OTHER GENERATORS.
ARC Turbogenerator has three major advantages over all other kerosene-based compact generator systems.
LOW EMISSION
The combustion inside the turbine is very different from internal combustion engines. The combustion process occurs at a lower-temperature and thereby, produces less pollution. Also, the ARC generator can be fueled by bio-diesel – a sustainable fuel.
LOW VIBRATION
The combustion inside the turbine is steady state as opposed to pulsed detonations inside an internal combustion engine. As a result, at full throttle, the ARC is as solid as a rock, ideal for applications requiring minimum vibration.
VERSATILITY
The compressor within the turbine provides a reliable supply of air. For this reason, the ARC is resilient to varying atmospheric conditions and will work well in a variety of climates and high-altitude environments.
