Key Design Features

Compact Size

The AB6 JetQuad drone is ultra-compact, similar in size to a large suitcase, delivering 840N of thrust from four micro jet engines. Ready to fly out of the box with a shoulder-mounted ground station, it requires no assembly. With no external airfoils, the JetQuad operates in environments inaccessible to propeller-based drones.

High Speed

The AB6 JetQuad excels in vertical takeoff, precise hovering, and seamless transitions to high-speed horizontal flight. Its in-house Thrust-Vectoring System (TVS) enables agile maneuvers, while advanced software supports autonomous flight through pre-set waypoints, enhancing performance for diverse applications.

Fuel Flexibility

The JetQuad drone supports heavy fuels like Diesel, Kerosene, Jet-A, and Biodiesel, enabling rapid refueling in minutes compared to hours for electric drones. Its unique propulsion allows takeoff from various surfaces, and quick-start capabilities ensure easy operation in diverse environments.

Less Moving Parts - Less Hassle.

We believe in simplicity. A high-speed jet-powered drone must be easy to build, easy to fly and easy to maintain. For this reason, the team at FusionFlight has produced a mechanically simple jet-powered drone containing just four turbines and four thrust vectoring nozzles. These components are combined with a compact avionics system to produce a truly compact but powerful drone.

Performance Packages

Several upgrade packages are available which improve the Avionics or Aerodynamics of the vehicle. Contact FusionFlight for custom quotes.

  • AVIONICS

    Various electronic upgrades are available for interested customers. A SATCOM receiver can be used to allow the ground-station to communicate with the drone via satellite, anywhere on Earth - useful for long-range missions. For operating the JetQuad in rough terrain, a companion computer with machine vision capability could greatly assist in autonomous navigation. Long range HD and FPV cameras are also available upon request.

  • AERODYNAMICS

    The JetQuad may be upgraded with an aerodynamic package. A typical package would consist of a custom shell that is designed according to customer requirements for range, speed and payload delivery method. For example, a Blended-Wing Body (BWB) provides lift during cruise and greatly improves fuel efficiency. With a BWB, JetQuad can fly longer and further, but other bodies can be designed based on the specific application.
